Body Writes is a movement and creativity offering that shines right from my heart.
This workshop weaves together poetic pieces of movement, meditation, musing-writing practices that heal, nourish and support self-liberation.
Body Writes is a soulmate match for you if…
• You wish to deepen into a true friendship with your body.
You know that all the answers you seek are within, but there's a disconnect from knowing and feeling, from hearing and purposefully acting on those gut-calls and heart-tugging whispers. You're ready to cleanse the doubt and strengthen self-trust.
• You’re longing to express your creativity with greater ease and breath-soothed clarity.
Striving and stressing diminishes the potency of our innate creativity. Creativity is a life-force that flows throughh our bodies, and just like the seasons of nature, our creativity also moves through seasonal rhythms. We just need to soften into honoring which season we are in. There are gifts to spring and there are gifts to winter.
• You’re desiring to experience replenishment, lightheartedness and the power-source that is JOY.
Healing can be honeyed. Levity is enlightening. Embodiment and self-liberation can sparkle and bubbly fizz like a glass of cranberry kombucha.
Body Writes: Nourish Your Inner Spring includes…
• breath-guided movement and intuitive dance,
• meditations to access now-moment insights from the body,
• poetry with the theme of spring,
• and free writes purposefully crafted to prompt you back home – to your breath-brightened revelations and felt-realizations.
All is offered as an invitation.
There is CHOICE here. You get to honor your sacred YES and sacred NO, and even practice exploring your own embodied discernment between the two. Take what serves your breath. Gently leave the rest.

I worked for GreenHouse17 in my mid-twenties and was and still am wholeheartedly impressed by the integrity of GreenHouse17’s staff, their holistic and progressive programming, and the compassionate care that is given to each person they serve.
Located out in the rolling hills of the bluegrass, GreenHouse17 hosts an exquisite garden and flower farm where families can return to the beautifying healing effects of nature. They also have a commercial kitchen where survivors can learn to make and sell handmade soaps and lip balms. Please read more about their extraordinary work in healing, advocacy and uplifting families here : https://greenhouse17.org
FREEDOM, JOY and BEAUTY are the core values guiding my facilitation.
If you feel a resonate expansion of breath at a few of these declarations, then I am for you, and so is this offering. If not, how gorgeous to discern and honor that sacred no. We are all walking each other home, as Ram Dass says, and I’ll tag along and add -- home to love.
~We are nature. (Exhale.) And we are naturally creative. To be human is to be creative.
~Ease is signal of alignment. And we can trust the power of ease to guide us.
~We are beautiful because we breathe. Beauty is a life-giving source that is vital for our optimal wellbeing.
~Our healing is the world’s healing. And healing can be joyous, light, a very fun dance party.
A Mini Bio…
I grew up singing “Les Miserables” (I could do a one-woman show of the entire musical), studied human rights, and worked in advocacy in my twenties. I’m a 500-hour yoga instructor with over a decade experience of teaching movement and meditation. My first love is writing and I thrive in the spontaneous world of improv theatre.
I super swoon over the nervous system, and celebrate this intricate and gorgeous system as a pivotal intersection between accessing our spirit and coming home to our holy humanity. Tending and regulating the nervous system creates spaciousness for our true nature of love, joy and peace to shine through.
My joy-lit task is to be a space-holder, a facilitator with a Mary Poppins bag of supportive energetic and embodiment aids, who works from a holistic frame of seeing and holding the truth that you are healed, whole, and complete. I also deeply honor where you are and how you are in this now-moment on this magnificent and courageous human being journey.
